Welcome to CalJab. By downloading, installing, or using the CalJab iOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
CalJab is an AI-powered nutrition tracking application that helps users log meals, track macronutrients, plan meals, and monitor health-related data. The App is available on iOS and requires an internet connection for certain features.
CalJab is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The App is a nutrition tracking tool only. Information provided by the App, including AI-generated insights, calorie targets, medication tracking features, and nutrition suggestions, should not be considered medical advice. Always consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, medication, or treatment plan.
You must create an account to use CalJab. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use the App.
CalJab offers free and premium tiers. Premium features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase, managed through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and trial periods are displayed in the App before purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (food logs, photos, notes). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide and improve the service. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.
CalJab uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos, generate nutrition insights, and provide personalized recommendations. AI results are estimates and may not always be accurate. You should verify nutrition information when precision is important, especially for medical dietary requirements.

The App, including its design, code, content, recipes, and AI models, is owned by CalJab and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalJab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition data will be 100% accurate.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@caljab.app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through appropriate legal channels.
